The Sewing Machine Licence workshop is designed to help you truly get to know your own sewing machine. We start by exploring your machine’s functions together so you can understand what each part does and how to use it with confidence. I also teach you how to perform simple, regular cleaning and maintenance to keep your machine running smoothly for years to come. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, we move into ground‑based exercises. These guided practices help you build confidence at your own pace while learning how your machine behaves under your hands. From there, we progress to material‑based exercises, where you begin stitching on fabric and applying your new skills in a more practical, creative way. To receive your Sewing Machine Licence, you’ll complete a small project on your own machine—something achievable, enjoyable, and designed to show that you understand the essentials of safe, confident sewing. By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only know your machine better, but you’ll feel empowered, capable, and ready to begin your sewing journey with joy.
